Aircraft Details
The Beechcraft Denali was designed by Textron Aviation to breathe new life into the single-engine turboprop market.
The Denali’s high-performance, clean sheet design delivers greater flexibility and versatility while offering more cabin space and lower operating costs.
Interior
The new cabin features a larger cross section to offer more head room and shoulder room, with 6 fully-adjustable seats in executive configuration with a forward, modular refreshment center, or a commuter layout with 9 available seats.
Its cabin is 58 in tall × 63 in wide with a flat floor, measuring 3 inches wider than its closest competitor, and the 59 in tall × 53 in wide cargo door is larger than the PC-12’s door (53×52 in).
A externally-serviceable belted lavatory is available at the rear of the cabin, and can be removed to make room for additional cargo or oversized items.
Performance
Powered by an all-new GE Catalyst engine with a 5-blade composite prop, the Denali delivers jet-like performance with cruise speeds up to 328 mph and a useful range of 1,600 nautical miles.
Textron utilized automatic drilling from their Citation series of jets, reducing man-hours and risk of injury; a minimal number of holes and fasteners are used by machining large parts from a single aluminum billet, and carefully routing the meeting edges while mating the cabin to the nose, tail, and other structures.
The flight deck contains the Garmin 3000 touchscreen avionics suite, with 14-inch displays, dual-channel FADEC, fully-digital propeller control, integrated autothrottle, ADS-B Out, TAWS, and solid-state weather radar.
